Hello everyone! We have reached the last month of this year 2020 and we have only few days left before entering 2021. As usual, this year has provided us a number of things to be thankful for. No one would have ever expected that COVID-19 situation will shut down the whole world this year. However, God has given us the strength to persevere through these tough times. Hopefully, the COVID-19 Pandemic will soon come to an end and the world will get back to how it used to be. Let us all add these points to our daily prayer.
For me, this year started off very well. I started this year in Church, praying for possibly all the good things in life like everyone. Now, here I am…Writing about this year in the last month. God has been kind to me. I got selected in an interview and was able to get a better offer in the month of January, 2020. Due to the pandemic and the other reasons, I was able to join my new organization only in the month of June, 2020. I got virtually on boarded and started working from home, since then. One thing I miss the most is meeting and talking with friends. I hope you all will agree with me…Friends make life comfortable and happier for us. I was able to connect to my friends through online. However, over the time I did realize that the virtual meetings can never replace the real gatherings/meetings which we encounter in our daily life. This year, I’ve lost one of my dearest friends. His name is Jagan (I have written about him in my earlier post). Hope God gives comfort, strength and happiness to everyone who is near and dear to him. On the other hand, I have planned to go for trips throughout this year while starting this year. I went on a trip to Tanjavur with my office friends in the month of January, 2020. In the month of February 2020, I visited Kanyakumari with my family and it was a wonderful experience. In the month of March, we planned to go on a trip to Ooty, but we were stopped by COVID-19 Pandemic and the Lockdown which is imposed in our country. So, we can say that 85% of my life this year was spent indoors. In my new organization, I am working in general shift – which is a great blessing according to me. In the month of April 2020, I planned to start a blog and purchased a domain name. From the month of June 2020 till now, I am writing my blog (consistently sometimes, not-so-consistently other times). As a new blogger, I am trying my best to maintain the pace and consistently write blog posts. Hope I will write consistently from now on.
In this year, sometimes I am thinking like a Sci-fi movie hero. Other times, I am thinking like a Bollywood villain. Rest of the times, I am a Blogger…Hahaha, on a lighter note – These lines describe the summary of my life this year. I pray that everyone who is reading these lines at this time have a blessed December, 2020 and a super-blessed New Year 2021.
