How I got 1000+ visitors in my first month of Blogging?

It’s been almost one and a half months since I started blogging. I always wanted to express my thoughts with the World. That is the reason why you’ll see a lot of my thoughts expressed in my blog. When the lockdown was announced here in India due to COVID-19 outbreak, I came up with an idea of writing my thoughts down in a digital forum. Within the next few days, I bought my domain and started to blog.

1. Initial Days
As I started blogging, I was not sure of what to do and what not to do. I was posting my writings and shared to my friends in social media forums. Initially, my posts were getting very low views and there was literally no one to interact with my posts. I was a bit worried, but I thought of never giving up on this. I love to write poems, articles about nature, inspiration and technology. So, I continued to improve my content and hoped one day people will love reading my writings.

2. My experience with Blogging
After somedays of struggle, I learnt that Blogging is all about how you make your content reach your readers. For that reason, you’ve to find where your readers are and what they are interested in. I started a new Facebook page for my Blog ( and posted the links to my blog content in the page. Slowly and steadily, I got followers to my Facebook page and they were also viewing my blog, which I thought was a very good sign. It proved to be one of the best things to do as a beginner in blogging. On the other hand, I started posting my blog content in Instagram ( where my friends read my writings and started talking to me about my blog. It so happened that I noticed the hashtag #WritingCommunity in Twitter and started using the hashtag in all my posts. Twitter has a very good Writing Community that connects Bloggers globally. A large number of experienced Bloggers started interacting with my posts and my self-confidence grew up day by day. Then, I also started to take part in Comment Exchange Programs where I got a chance to read fellow bloggers’ writings and get inspiration from them. They’ve generously started to interact with my posts like how I was reading their posts and sharing my thoughts with them. Little by little, my blog got more audience and reached 1000+ views by the end of the month.

3. Learnings
There is always something to learn from success and failure. Getting 1000+ views may sound like a very small feat for an experienced Blogger, but on the other hand for me I consider it a milestone in my blogging journey. All that I learnt in the first month of Blogging is that you have to find your readers, help others to reach their goals and last but not the least – be hopeful and do your best.

Finally, I would like to end this blog post by letting you know my blogging goals for the current month. Hopefully, I want to reach 2000+ views this month. If you’re a Blogger and if you want me to read your writings, kindly comment your blog links below. I’ll go through your blog and share my thoughts. Constructive suggestions are always welcomed. Thank You for taking time off your busy schedule and reading my article. Have a wonderful day. Good Luck!

Happily ever after

“And they lived happily ever after…”
This is how fairy tales end.
Everyone loves happy endings.
I’ve never heard anyone saying that that they hate happy endings.
Life is a journey, I do agree to it.
However, We do not know about our destination.
No one does…
A journey without knowing the destination.
Yes, it is true…
That’s why people talk about uncertainties.
Life is a beautiful uncertainty.
Let’s cherish and enjoy everyday living this beautiful uncertainty called ‘Life’ !!!

To our Planet

Nothing to hide from, Nothing to run away from…
I was sitting still looking out of my window sill !
Queer is the way our World has turned to be…
Locking up ourselves at our home till everything is brought under control,
No content on my mind, but silence.
I have food with me, a roof on top…I am blessed.
Re-kindling a long forgotten friendship with a single phone call,
Re-visiting my childhood by turning to photo albums,
Restoring the love of the family and
Reading books from my room’s shelf…
Praying to God for the goodness of our Planet,
I am finding the silver lining !

“All life is a child’s play”,
I’ve heard people saying this…
In life, we choose our journey.
We choose our path.
We run towards our destiny…
In the midst of our journey,
We meet people –
People who make us smile,
People who help us grow,
People who wish us good luck.
Some people – We make friends.
Some people – Run along with us.
Some people – love us for what we are.
Some people – pray for us.
I believe that praying for someone who doesn’t even know that we are praying for them is the highest form of showing love towards anyone in our planet.

I have heard people say this:
“Your perspective in life will impact on each and everything you do”.
So, it’s very important to have a positive approach towards life.
I give a thumbs up for that…
I completely agree to it.
I know choices are important,
But we choose according to our perspective.
Little by little, days keep crawling…
I am filled with my own vibes most of the time.
I am not sure what Lady Luck and Mr. Fortune has in store for me – And,
I also don’t know whether my vibes are positive or not…
Let’s call it neutral for now…
Which perspective do I belong to?

May her soul rest in peace

Everyone has their place in the world of ours…
Don’t you agree with me?
We humans have occupied the whole surface of the planet…
Now, where have we given space for others?
We have conquered jungles,
We have cut trees…
All that we do is for the betterment of only human life…
Where do we stand now?
Where is our future?
We are left only with questions…
We don’t have the answers…
This is the sad truth!
My heart is with the pregnant elephant who died after being fed a pineapple stuffed with crackers…
What would she had thought while eating that pineapple?
“Thank God, I’ve got something to eat”,
“Finally, I am feeding my baby” or
Whatever she would have thought, she wouldn’t have thought that human beings have the cruelty in their mind to stuff crackers in a pineapple.
She believed in humanity.
The Earth belongs to them as well…
Even if you are not able to show love to them, do not hurt them.
As a human, I am sorry.
May her soul rest in peace!

This poem is my tribute to the pregnant elephant who was killed by feeding stuffed crackers in a pineapple. May her soul rest in peace!

Just for the fun of Writing

Its June of 2020 already…
I have no plans other than just thinking…
I know I can write on anything…
But what should I write…
Numerous thoughts start clogging my mind…
People always dream big…
So, do I…
Life always have something or the other to teach us…
In the end, all that is left for us are our memories…
Memories trigger emotions, and –
Believe Me…
Emotions are powerful, aren’t they?
The Struggles in Life either teach us to win or lose…
Either you choose to never give up and keep trying till you win,
Or choose to give up on your dreams…
The choice is yours…
Let me tell you why I have written these lines:
“Just for the fun of Writing”

Oh Moon

Walking under the night sky with no roof on top !
A very rare occasion in this busy city life…
I lifted up my head and the sky seemed clear.
Oh Moon !
Tamil poets have compared thee to pure white milk !!!
For some reason –
You are looking yellowish today.
All of nature stays calm and still – while
This human mind had already run a thousand miles.
My cloudy mind gives me thousand reasons to think…
Where is our evolution heading us to ???

Night Sky

Everywhere I see…
White dots all above me !!!
The stars stay quiet in the silence of the night.
All that I wish to see on Earth now is dark:
Our Sun has gone to rest for the day.
The memories of the day flashed in my mind.
Did I forget to smile ???
I don’t know…
Is the sky – nothing, but an empty space ???
My soul failed to give me an answer…
Who will answer me ???

One thought lingers in my mind :
Faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains.
How so shallow, yet so deep is faith…
Poetry always laments your absence !!!
Faith raises multiple questions…
A practical mind finds no answer for the questions asked !!!
Yet, a poor soul believes with his whole heart…
I have seen people pray for miracles !!!
Oh practical mind, you will always question people of their faith!!!
Faith brings people together…
Faith builds true friendships…
Faith makes people fall in love…
But, what gives you faith???
A million dollar question for which I don’t have an answer…
Belief comes from your brain…
Faith comes from your heart…
Your mind will play the rythm !!!
Your soul will sing a song !!!
Faith cannot be answered with a scientific mind…
This unexplainable faith have power…
Never let anyone lose their faith in you…
Because the ultimate reward of faith is MIRACLE…
